What we do
Clinical Psychology
We provide individual clinical psychology appointments for young people and adults encountering a variety of obstacles, from common challenges to complex mental health needs. Our practice is warm, inclusive and authentic - we assist individuals to navigate change, strengthen their relationships and lead healthier lives. Through ethical, evidence-based interventions, we empower individuals to reach their full potential and overcome psychological difficulties. We collaborate with clients to develop individualised treatment plans, inclusive of assessment and diagnoses to gain insight, develop adaptive coping measures and achieve therapeutic goals. Appointments are offered Australia-wide via telehealth and face-to-face in Naarm/Melbourne; we do not offer crisis support or outreach appointments.
We assist individuals manage a range of challenges including: anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, neurodiversity, trauma, relationship difficulties, communication issues, grief and loss, emotional difficulties, problematic behaviours, life transitions, gender and sexual identity and substance misuse.
Clinical Supervision
We are approved by the Psychology Board of Australia to provide clinical supervision to provisional and early career psychologists. Clinical supervision includes guidance, support, development of clinical skills and knowledge, determining best-practice therapeutic approaches and the assessment of professional competencies stipulated by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Psychology Board of Australia. We support psychologists to build confidence and proficiency in their practice in line with the APS Code of Ethics and empirical evidence. Through our clinical supervision, psychologists have the opportunity to safely and honestly reflect on their practice and receive constructive feedback and support to expand their professional development.
We have extensive experience supporting psychologists working with mood disorders, neurodiversity, personality disorders, cognitive difficulties, substance use disorders, high-risk behaviours and forensic issues. Prior to engaging in clinical supervision, we provide a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation with prospective supervisees to determine the appropriateness of the supervisory alliance.
